Is anyone else experiencing a shedload of lag after todays patch. I downloaded the 450MB, applied the -image switch and de-compressed everything to see if that was the cause but it's still lagging afterwards.

Sometimes it's normal, then it's like my character is running through treacle. Then I get the 'jerk and jump' effect, where my charater suddenly appears to cover 200ft in an instant. Also, I'm getting a delay effect when either attcking or using a skill.

My interweb connection is as stable and as quick as normal, my PC is in tip-top condidtion, so those can be ruled out. Yesterday it was fine, it's just after this patch that the lag started.

yes it's laggy. it's obviously due to the large traffic of people downloading the new update... hope it will end in a day

yeah it was the same with the pre streaming of factions. Just give it some time and all will go back to normal once people have downloaded all of the update.

I hope so! It's un-playable at the moment with the lag and now I'm Err=005'ing when trying to map to certain places. Senji's Corner is the latest!

give it about a week
thats about how long it took during the double faction event when the same size of file was out

Just left a horribly laggy AB. It was like playing a turn-based version of GW.

Streaming download seems to be about 450mb, best thing to do is sit at the log in screen and watch tv, surf till it's done.

Took me forever to download the update, the download speed was between 0 and 110, most of the time between 20-50 but usually any update is streamed at the highest speed I can download at but this sucked.

And I failed a mission twice because of lag, both times I got error 05 right at the end.

Meh..

I hate lags.. good thing i'm at work right now! Hopefully, it won't be laggy when i get back online tonight.

earlier i was getting code=005, but its stopped now, im just farming away in FoW, none of my guild are on,all on TS maoning that they cant get on , but im staying quiet
